Garden Rescue

We made an awesome decision and hired a subcontractor and his team to dig and set our fence posts.  It turns out that our house, like much of Halifax, is sitting on one giant rock.  Digging postholes by hand or even with an auger would have been impossible.  Luckily, the team we hired came armed for the battle with jackhammers and rebar!  Our gardens were bound to take a beating though and I'm glad I was able to rescue these beauties in the nick of time:

Spoiler alert - we finally settled on the exact right shade of blue for the kitchen cabinets!
