A New Landscape.

Do you ever just get a bee in your bonnet about something and have an unexplained need to see it through?  A couple weeks ago, I woke up with this idea for a new painting.  And I couldn't shake it.  Our fence is half built and our yard is full of shrubs that need to be planted.  Our kitchen is still a disaster zone.  Construction dust is still everywhere. And our dining room is only half-painted (still!).  Starting a new painting should have not even crossed my mind, but it did.  And I have to say, I am very pleased with the results.

But then again, I seriously love abstract art and landscapes.  And brass birds.
